    Labreador ("we", "our", "the application") is a client-side bioassay analysis platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

    Data We Collect

    Short answer: Almost nothing. Labreador processes all data locally in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store your experimental data on any server.

    • Experimental data (plate readings, concentrations, results) – processed entirely in your browser, never sent to any server
    • Preferences (theme, layout settings) – stored locally via localStorage
    • Cookie consent – your accept/decline choice stored locally

    Data We Do NOT Collect

    • Personal identifying information (name, email, phone)
    • Account or login credentials
    • IP addresses or geolocation data
    • Browsing history or tracking data
    • Your experimental results or research data

    Data Processing

    All bioassay calculations (curve fitting, statistical analysis, interpolation) are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data leaves your device. Results are not stored, transmitted, or accessible by us in any way. You retain full ownership and control of all data processed through the application.

    Third-Party Services

    Labreador does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The application is self-contained and does not make external API calls with your data.

    Data Retention

    Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control. Clear your browser's localStorage to remove all stored preferences. Exported CSV files are saved to your device and are not retained by us.

    Your Rights (GDPR)

    Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

    • Access – All your data is already in your browser's localStorage
    • Rectification – You can modify any stored settings directly
    • Erasure – Clear localStorage or browser data to delete everything
    • Data portability – Export your results as CSV at any time
    • Object – Decline cookies via the consent banner

    Children's Privacy

    Labreador does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 16. Since no personal data is collected, no age verification is required.
