By accessing and using Labreador ("the application", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.
Labreador is a free, browser-based bioassay analysis platform that provides tools for ELISA analysis, dose-response curve fitting, and kinetic group comparison. All computations are performed locally in your browser.
Labreador is designed as a research and analysis tool for scientific professionals. The application is intended for research use only (RUO) and should not be used for clinical diagnostics or regulatory submissions without independent validation.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We make no warranty that (a) the application will meet your requirements, (b) results obtained will be accurate, complete, or reliable, (c) statistical calculations, curve fitting, interpolations, or any other computational outputs will be free from errors, bugs, or defects, or (d) the application will be available uninterrupted.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LABREADOR, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: (a) the use or inability to use the application; (b) errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in calculations, statistical analyses, curve fitting, dose-response modeling, or any other computational output; (c) reliance on results produced by the application for publications, regulatory submissions, clinical decisions, or any other purpose; (d) data loss or corruption; (e) misinterpretation of results; or (f) any decision or action taken based on application outputs. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You expressly understand and agree that your use of the application is at your sole risk. You assume full responsibility for all consequences arising from the use of any results, analyses, or outputs generated by the application, including but not limited to publication of erroneous data, incorrect scientific conclusions, failed experiments, or regulatory non-compliance.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Labreador, its developers, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the application; (b) your reliance on any results or outputs; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) any publication, submission, or dissemination of results obtained through the application.
The Labreador application, including its design, code, and branding (including our good boy mascot 🐾), is protected by intellectual property rights. Your results and data remain entirely yours – we claim no rights to any data you process through the application.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the application shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
Labreador is provided free of charge. If the application contributes to your research, you are required to acknowledge its use in your publications by including a citation or mention. A suggested citation format is available on the application's landing page.
If you have questions about these terms, please reach out through the application's support channels.
